Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a holistic therapy that aims to restore balance to the body. During the degree course students are taught to find and release any tension, restriction or imbalance in the body via a variety of techniques. These may include soft tissue massage, articulation, physical manipulation ('clicks'), stretching or cranial osteopathy. Each patient is assessed to establish their own particular pattern of problems and treated with the techniques most suitable.

Cranial Osteopathy

Cranial osteopathy is a gentle technique that aims to release any accumulated stresses and strains within the body. It still abides by the basic principles of osteopathy to improve balance, structure, function and posture but rather than physically pushing and pulling the body back into shape cranial osteopathy acts as a trigger for the body to change at its own pace.

It is suitable to be used on people of all ages

I have been following the biodynamic osteopathy program and so use this more and more when treating

During any consultation a detailed history will be taken to fully understand the type of stresses and strains your body has been through - to fully understand its story.
